- Saturday, March 2th, 2023– Net Better Ball
- FLIGHT WINNERS
- Flight winners and subsequent positions are determined by the lowest combined total by each team after all 18 holes have been played. Virtual Scorecards must be signed and returned to the Professional Staff in the scoring area upon the completion of each round. The card must show the gross score and the net score for the team on each hole. All flight winners will advance to The Shootout.
- TIE BREAKERS
- In the event of a tie for the flight winner or runner-up, the winner will be determined by the lower score from the back nine. If that method results in a tie, the total from the final six (6) holes will determine the winner, followed by the lowest score from the final three (3) holes, followed by the lowest score on the 18th hole. If that method results in a tie, a chip off will be used as the tie breaker.
- WEATHER SHORTENINGS
- In case of inclement weather shortening the 18-hole event, flight prizes will be awarded based in 3-hole increments. For example, if only 9 holes are completed, flight prizes will be awarded based off of 9 holes. If 15 holes are completed, flight prizes will be awarded based off of 15 holes. If play is suspended, please seek shelter immediately.
- PRIZES
- Prizes will be awarded to the Overall Shootout Champion, as well as 1st and 2nd places in each flight.
- THE SHOOTOUT
- The winner of all flights will have a playoff to determine the Overall Champion of the 2023 One-Day Member-Member. The Shootout will be played on a modified par three using the 9th hole at The Plantation Course. It will be a modified alternate shot format. All flight winning teams will compete. Each player will hit their tee shot to the green, and the team will select the best shot. The player whose tee shot was not selected will play the second shot, the partner will play the third, and so on and so forth until the ball is holed. The lowest gross score will be crowned Overall Champion. If there is a tie, a chip off will be used to determine the winners.
